Dear brothers and sisters,
My husband Andy and I send our love to you from our part of the world with deep gratitude for your prayers and empathy, which we feel and deeply appreciate. Some of you are aware that we evacuated our home in Kyiv on March 2, narrowly escaping a missile, and are temporarily living in Budapest (Instagram@budapestchurchofchrist) with the church here. Thank you for your continued prayers for God’s reign and kingdom to come into every heart and for war to cease everywhere.
I am writing to you today as the editor of www.womentoday.international, the only global website exclusively by and for ICOC women and our friends. I believe most of you are aware of its existence; for that we owe a great debt of thanks to our generous hosts at zibster.com and our family and colleagues at www.disciplestoday.org, for including us in their newsletters, sharing their expertise and helping us achieve our goal of providing valuable online spiritual resources to the women who want and need them most.
As many of us prepare to attend the World Discipleship Summit in Orlando this summer, we send special thanks to the Chicago church (chicagochurch.org) which has graciously paid the bill for womentoday.international to have an exhibition booth at the WDS. We feel the Summit is an important opportunity for us to get the word out to more of our sisters that we have this great resource available to us to “inspire, train, grow, connect” women in all stages of life in our churches around the world.
The volunteers who donate their time to womentoday.international every week are a task force of the ICOC Women’s Service Team. We have no funding. We actually don’t need anything, unless we choose to undertake a one-time project like this booth at the World Discipleship Summit.
Our goal for the booth is to introduce ICOC women to the website as a useful resource and to inspire them as we strive to build stronger one-another relationships and sisterhood across the world. In order to help make the WDS booth as inviting as possible, we are in need of assistance.
Please would you or your church be willing to help us with a one-time donation of $50 or $100 to help cover the cost of supplies for our booth at the WDS?
The donations would be used to purchase promotional giveaways to raise brand awareness and to encourage our sisters at the WDS. Your generosity would be an investment in the ICOC women’s ministries to let our sisters know about the quality online resources we provide to spiritually strengthen women’s ministries around the world.
Our dream goal is to raise $5000, but we will be happy with anything the Lord provides. No donation is too small!

I’ve attached below some of our stats. We’re doing well by industry standards if you are familiar with this sort of thing. These screenshots show that we had 2500 users this month. For the first week in December, which we show below, we had between 300 – 600 users a day. More than 13 percent of users this month found us by searching the web. More than 16 percent come from other sites like DisciplesToday and churches that have linked us on their website. You can also see the top ten nations where our users live.
