The Holy Spirit Moved All Of Us To Love

June 4, 2026

Last Words Day 7: The Utterance of Trust

April 4, 2026

Day 7: The Utterance of Trust"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit."Luke 23:46Jesus’ final statement is a prayer of trust and surrender. Having completed His mission, He willingly and confidently yielded His spirit back to the Father. Jesus shows us how a life lived in obedience to God should end—not in fear, but in peaceful relinquishment. It is the ultimate act of trust. In this last utterance, Jesus quotes from Psalm 31. His words exemplify trust in the Father when facing ...

Last Words Day 6: The Utterance of Triumph

April 3, 2026

Day 6: The Utterance of Triumph "It is finished." John 19:30This is not a cry of defeat, but a shout of victory! The Greek word is tetelestai, an accounting term meaning "Paid in Full." It signifies that Jesus completed the work He came to do: He lived a perfect life, paid the full penalty for sin, and conquered death. The work of salvation was not just almost done; it was once and for all finished.Sometimes we can feel surrounded by unfinished projects or goals. The finish line seems to ...

Last Words Day 5: The Utterance of Suffering

April 2, 2026

Day 5: The Utterance of Suffering "I am thirsty."John 19:28This is the shortest and most human of Jesus’ statements on the cross. It is a physical complaint, a simple expression of His agonizing dehydration. It reminds us that He was fully human, subject to all the physical limitations and suffering we experience. He wasn't a robot on the cross; He was a man dying a brutal death. This utterance speaks to the universal reality of suffering and our need for relief. As women, we often ...

Last Words Day 4: The Utterance of Abandonment

April 1, 2026

Day 4: The Utterance of Abandonment "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Matthew 27:46, Mark 15:34In the extraordinary darkness of the ninth hour, Jesus cried out the words of Psalm 22. This is the only utterance where Jesus did not address the Father with the intimate term "Father." In that moment, He truly felt the pain of separation, taking on the full weight of humanity's sin. For many of us, Jesus’ cry is profoundly relatable. Surely we have all experienced moments of ...

Last Words Day 3: The Utterance of Relationship

March 31, 2026

Day 3: The Utterance of Relationship "Woman, here is your son,"… and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." John 19:26-27Even in His excruciating pain, Jesus was mindful of His earthly family. He ensured His mother, Mary, would be cared for by His beloved disciple, John. This act speaks volumes about the depth of His love and the importance of earthly relationships and community. Jesus did not leave His mother to grieve alone. He created a new family bond on the spot.As women, we ...

Last Words Day 2: The Utterance of Hope

March 30, 2026

Day 2: The Utterance of Hope"Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise."Luke 23:43Have you ever felt like you are too far gone for forgiveness or change? Maybe you find yourself struggling with a recurrent sin, even after you committed yourself to repentance time and time again. Or maybe you started the year determined to grow spiritually. Now, nearly four months into the year, you find yourself in the same rut—you wonder if you’ve even grown at all. Or perhaps you ...

Last Words Day 1: The Utterance of Forgiveness

March 29, 2026

Last Words Day 1: The Utterance of Forgiveness "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."Luke 23:34 No matter how many times we may read these words, it is difficult not to find them both convicting and shocking. In Jesus’ moment of ultimate suffering, His first thought was not of Himself, but of the people crucifying Him. He looked past their cruelty, their ignorance, and their sin to offer a prayer of radical forgiveness. How could that be?Jesus saw others ...
