Sheeba Alex was raised in a traditional Christian family. She became a disciple of Jesus after understanding the truth from God's word in the year 1993. Being passionate about the mission of Jesus, she joined the full-time ministry the next year. She has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a masters in social work.

 

She married Saji Alex in 1996. Together, they led churches in South India. 

 

Currently Sheeba serves as a women's ministry leader of the Trivandrum Church of about 230 members and oversees the Kerala region of about 700 members along with her husband. She has two adult sons, Adarsh and Ashvath, both of whom are disciples.

 

Sheeba enjoys learning from God's word and helping women to know God better. She loves spending time admiring the beauty of God's wonderful creation -- mountains, beaches, the sky, flowers, birds and little children.

 

She believes that in every trial she faces, God helps her to know him better and to be more like him. That is her vision for all sisters, so that together we will reflect the glory of Christ.
